Cover The Facehunter

When French Elle ran an article on ‘How to Become Hip in 15 Steps’, there was no question about Step 1: have your photograph taken by Face Hunter. Face Hunter is the pseudonym of 32-year-old Swiss-born Yvan Rodic, founder of one of the most innovative fashion blogs on the internet, which bills itself as ‘eye candy for the style-hungry’.

These unexpected new icons of style are gathered
together in over 300 photographs, accompanied by Face Hunter’s sharp
observations from the new frontline of fashion: the street corner.

Some of the new icons of style that Yvan photographs are gathered together in over 300 pictures in this new book, accompanied by Face Hunter’s sharp observations from the new frontline of fashion: the street corner. (You can watch our video interview with the Face Hunter here).

Those who love street fashion will love this book.

And we are giving away 6 copies of the book, and for that we are teaming up with 5 awesome personal style fashion bloggers from Italy (Myriam @ Mode-moi-selle), France (Valentine @ Hello its Valentine), Germany (Nathalie @ Accessory Pirate), UK (Marian @ Marian Kihogo) and Spain (Belen @ B* a la Moda) for this giveaway. You can go to any of their blogs, enjoy their style, and participate to win this great book, or participate through Chicisimo’s Facebook page.

The new Chicisimo is here!! Thanks so much for your feedback!

Thanks all!!
Why do you like Chicisimo? What don’t you like about Chicisimo?

A couple of months ago I run a survey about Chicisimo (the two above were some of the questions), and I got great feedback. Basically, you all told me three things: you did not like the look and feel of Chicisimo (chaotic, old style), you wanted to see more diversity, more styles, and you wanted to be able to do more stuff on the site.

About the first comment, hearing the truth from people you care about is awesome. Is kind of shocking to hear your site is ugly, but hey, I asked, you responded :)

So, here is the new site, cleaner, better organized, and paying more attention to the pictures, which is what matters here. But now I want your feedback about the new site, tell me what you thing anonymously, here, or email me at maria at chicisimo dot com.

Thanks!
